Listed below is the link for signing up for the audition on April 30th. This is only for incoming freshman of 2016. Its very user friendly- simply select a time and enter your name in any available slot for your specific instrument. The auditions will take place from 8AM-Noon, however each audition should only take around 8 minutes. See you on the 30th!!
Saturday, April 30 is the audition date for the 2016-2017 CHS Marching Percussion audition. All percussion students should be signed up for time to audition this coming Saturday. Students can sign up here:

In addition to this audition, there will be a call back session form 1-2pm for battery candidates. This call back session will be initiated during your audition, and will be for battery students. Front Ensemble students will start at the evening session on May 2. Should there be any questions regarding the process or the schedule, please see Mr. Waites.

Students, families, and friends are invited to the annual CHS Band & Color Guard Spring Banquet, to honor the achievements of our students and programs for the 2015-2016 school year. The banquet will be held at Safari Texas on Friday, May 20, 2016 from 6:00-10:00pm. The cost of the dinner is $15 per person with our senior students being free of charge. The dinner is buffet style, including chicken marsala with salad, appetizers, dessert, and a variety of drinks. The vegetarian option will be veggie lasagna.
Please download the order form, and return it with payment to the mailbox in the band hall by Tuesday, May 3rd. Seniors must return the form, even though their meal is free.
Incoming freshmen and current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors who will return to the band and guard program in 2016-17 need to mark their calendars for our 2nd annual Band/Guard Registration event on Saturday, May 14th, from 9:00 AM until Noon. Payment of fees (either in full or on a payment plan), sign-up for parent volunteer positions, sizing for marching shoes, and much more will occur that day. Please check back to this post for the documents and forms that will need to be filled out and collected at the registration day. Registration will occur in the CHS Commons.
Parents: Mark your calendar to attend the monthly meeting of the Band and Guard Booster Club. We will meet on Tuesday, May 10th, at 7:00 PM in the Clements Band Hall. Visit the Booster Page to find out more. We desire to have a vibrant, active organization that will help our children have the best possible experience. Please make plans to attend, and bring a fellow band/guard parent with you!
